Workshops for Schools
Our workshops are designed for all ages, from KS1 to A-Level. Combined with a tour of the bridge to explore the history and construction of Brunel's design, each workshop is supported by hands-on activities to enhance learning.
Within our education programme, we have a range of different tours and workshops that can be tailored to each visit.
As part of our workshops, pupils have the opportunity to handle postcards from our archives, build their own bridge using a range of different resources, delve into the role of being the Bridge Master by deciding what maintenance needs to happen and managing a budget, and discover how the bridge can be used to create sound.
Our workshops for schools are available for all ages, abilities and interest levels. We advise that you book your visit well in advance to avoid disappointment. Workshops are available between 9.30am and 5pm on weekdays.
Our current offers are listed below. To make a booking or talk to us about a tailored experience, please complete the School Enquiry Form.
