Clifton Suspension Bridge Trust (CSBT) have been made aware of a scam text message currently circulating that says money is owed for unpaid charges. The message demands that recipients ‘Settle a Notice of Debt’ and links to a cloned version of the Clifton Bridge website where a payment of £41 is outstanding.
- CSBT never sends text messages.
- CSBT is a Charitable Trust and not associated with any government bodies. Our web address does not contain gov-uk. It is cliftonbridge.org.uk.
A fraud case has been opened. Please DO NOT follow the link and DO NOT enter your bank details.
If you receive this message please email bridgemaster@cliftonbridge.org.uk to report it and/or forward any texts you receive to 7726 to help your service provider investigate this scam. Please also block the number.
