Did you know that there is a time capsule buried under the bridge?
Unfortunately, it has never been found but we know about it because it was recorded in the newspaper at the time. In the time capsule there are coins, some
celebratory china plates and some important documents.
Your challenge is to create your own time capsule about your life.
All you will need is a jar, plastic container or box with a lid that be closed firmly – along with some pencils and paper. Create some documents about life at this time – draw yourself and your family, write about your typical day or ask your parents if you can cut out pictures of your favourite celebrities from a magazine. When you have finished remember to date everything and then place your time capsule somewhere safe in your home. Open it up a year later and see what has changed!
